Records Management Handbook
This handbook contains guidance on a wide range of records management issues, including:
- How long to retain different types of records
- Email management
- Document storage and transfer, including sensitive information
- Best practice record-keeping techniques
The Handbook will be of relevance to most university staff. Please note that the records retention schedule relates to records retained by academic departments. Please contact the Records Manager for bespoke advice on retention schedules for other types of offices.
The coversheet should be attached to all policies and completed at the point of approval. A copy of the policy with coversheet should then be sent to Records Management. The policy will be registered and made available within the Guide to Policies and Information.
